Tuan Trinh is the Regional Director East at EIT Digital, responsible for Central and Eastern Europe, including the Western Balkans. EIT Digital is a leading European digital innovation and entrepreneurial education organization, part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), where he founded the Network Economics Group. He also established the Corvinus Fintech Center at Corvinus University of Budapest.
Tuan has been a visiting scientist at various institutions, including Ericsson Research, British Telecom, and Oxford University. He teaches courses at BME, University of Bern, and University of Luxembourg. He has advised the Hungarian government on spectrum auctions and the European Commission on emerging technologies.
He is a Pollák-Virág prize recipient and a MIT Certified Senior Cybersecurity professional. His Erdős number is 3.
