In 1994 he graduated as a physics teacher and in 1995 as a programmer mathematician at the Faculty of Science of Eötvös Loránd University.
He started his professional career as a financial systems developer and information security expert. From 1999 to 2002 he was the Deputy Director General of the Central Administration of National Pension Insurance, and from 2003 to 2010 he was Chairman and CEO of Professzionál Private Ltd. From 2010 to 2013, he was Director for IT at the NTCA and until 2015 Vice-President responsible for IT at the NTCA.
Since 2015, Chairman of the National Council for Telecommunications and Information; since 2018, Head of the Blockchain Working Group of the Digital Welfare Program of the Government; since 2020, Chairman of the Hungarian Scientific Association for Infocommunications; since 8 July 2021, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Commissioner for the National Tax and Customs Administration; since 27 May 2022 Government Commissioner responsible for optimizing the data assets of the Hungarian State Treasury and the National Tax and Customs Administration; since 2022, Vice-Chairman of the Hungarian Association of Financial - Economic Auditors.
Author of several scientific publications, his main research interests are electronic identification and authentication, and blockchain technology in public administration. He holds several patents related to information technology.
